I am highly skilled and specialise in pain management and occupational health as well as acupuncture, massage and hands on therapy. I have an understanding of the importance of holistic healthcare whilst treating people as unique individuals. I am an attentive listener, paying special attention your treatment goals and how it affects your life and that of the people around you. My specialist training in physiotherapy, orthopaedics, massage therapy and sports therapy along with over 15 years of experience in different areas of healthcare have equipped me with the skills and knowledge to get the best results possible for my clients. My clients include those from all walks of life who need expert guidance to return to full sporting performance or work as well as those with complex medical conditions who require expert input and supported management strategies.
Some clients seek my skills to help with relaxation, sleep, stress, anxiety, tension headaches or recovery from sports/gym training using any of the wide range of massage techniques that I provide. I believe in innovative practice and through working with my clients and collaborating with highly qualified colleagues we have created Hypno-massage. This is massage therapy combined with professionally written and recorded hypnotherapy CD’s and is excellent for the relief of stress, anxiety and improving sleep. The results of case studies using this technique have been excellent with many clients now travelling extensive distances for this innovative and deeply relaxing and beneficial massage
As a graduate of The University of Birmingham in 2005, I have over 11 years of clinical experience as a chartered physiotherapist and a broad range of hands on therapy skills. My experience includes musculoskeletal, occupational health, paediatric, elderly care and neurological physiotherapy. I currently deliver physiotherapy services in private practice, to local businesses and the National Health Service.
I have additional qualifications as a Health assessor, Level 3 Personal trainer, Level 2 Gym instruction and Nutrition. I am currently engaged in Masters Level Studies at Birmingham City University and regularly participate in continuing professional development to provide evidence based practice and clinical effectiveness. I enjoy working with others to achieve their goals and to Live Life Well.
